JKO DSCA Phase I Registration

Registering for JKO and the DSCA Phase I Course Curriculum

There are two ways users are able to self-register for courses on the JKO LCMS:

1.  with Common Access Card (CAC)

2.  request access thru JKO home page:  https://jkodirect.jten.mil/

If you do not have a JKO Account please select the request new username/password JKO access.  This will bring up an email, fill in the required information and send the email.

 

 You must have an established JKO account in order to continue the registration process.  Once your account is created please continue with the registration process.  For all JKO account issues, please contact:

To attend any DSCA Phase II resident Course, you must first complete DSCA Phase I, in addition to completion of DSCA Phase II enrollment request: “For a Graphical Description on how to apply for DSCA Phase I&II go to: http://www.dsca.army.mil/Register.aspx   Scroll 3/4 down and locate, PDF Logo highlighted in purple: Click on PDF Logo.

 

IF YOU HAVE A DSCA PHASE I CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION SKIP STEPS 1-12, GO TO STEP 13.

DSCA Phase I Registration Instruction:
DSCA Phase I Instructions steps 1-13 (JKO Course number J3S-T US010)
 

1.    Go to: https://jkodirect.jten.mil/

2.    Login

3.    Select: Course Catalog

4.    Under Search (purple colored tab), locate empty box, and Type: J3S in this box

5.    Select: Search button (purple colored tab)

6.    Find J3S-T-US010 Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) Course Phase, located at the bottom of page, “Use the number tab and/or arrow tab to search for course number J3S-T-US010”

7.    Once you located J3S T-US010 Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) Course Phase 1, select: Enroll

8.    Course Enrollment box will appear, Select: Continue

9.    Black box will appear at the top of your screen, you will see this message:  You have successfully enrolled into J3S T US010

10.  Select: My Training, “light purple tab” located upper left side of the page

11.  Find: Courses I Am enrolled in, locate J3S T-USO10 and Select: Launch

12.  Select: Start; via email, you will receive an enrollment notification message. At your leisure complete Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) Course Phase 1.

 

* When completed, print your DSCA Phase 1 certificate of completion.

To APPLY for a DSCA Phase II Resident Course start here:  

13.   Go to:  https://jkodirect.jten.mil/

14.   Login

15.   Select: Course Catalog

16.   Under Search button (purple colored tab), locate empty box, and Type:  J3S in     this box

17.  Select: Search (purple colored tab)

18.  Find your selected DSCA course J3S T-US522-13-?? or J3S T-US522-14-?? Located at the bottom of page, “Use the number tab and/or arrow tab to search for desired course number.   

19.  Once you have located J3S T-US522-13-?? or J3S T-US522-14-?? Select: Enroll

20.  Course Enrollment box will appear, Select: Continue

21. In a black box at the top of your screen you will see this message: You have successfully requested enrollment, your enrollment request status will read processing request

22. You will receive an automated email, Follow instructions, and complete the DSCA Application.

23. Return: DSCA application along with your DSCA Phase I Certificate of Completion to:  usarmy.jbsa.arnorth.mbx.dsca-registrar@mail.mil
 

**All ARNORTH/USNORTHCOM Members must complete FEMA 700a & 800b before attending any DSCA course.

All applicants will not be accepted into the DSCA Course. The basic qualification to apply for the DSCA Course is completion of Phase I and online JKO DSCA phase II. However, acceptance into Phase II is contingent on several factors, which includes, but not limited to; grade or rank of individual applying, DSCA related job or responsibilities, commands, organizations or units priority to receive Phase II training, and demographics of the course limitations.

When completed, your enrollment status will read processing request. The last step, upon graduation from the DSCA phase II resident course, the DSCA registrar will change your JKO status to read from processing request to passed.  (If you misplace your DSCA phase II certificate of completion, you will be able to obtain your DSCA Phase II certificate through JKO.)  *ALL ARNORTH/USNORTHCOM MEMBERS MUST COMPLETE FEMA IS 700.a-NIMS & 800B-NRF PRIOR TO ATTENDING ANY DSCA COURSE.
